Tease by Amanda Maciel

Hello There!
(This story that I am reviewing is an ARC)

A gripping, controversial debut about the nature of bullying.
Emma Putnam is dead, and it's all Sara Wharton's fault.
At least, that's what everyone seems to think when Sara, along with her best friend and three other classmates, has been criminally charged for the bullying and harassment that led to Emma's shocking suicide. But Sara is sure she hasn't done anything wrong, because Emma brought it on herself. Sara is adamant that she was the victim - not Emma.
Inspired by a true story, TEASE is a thought-provoking must-read that will haunt you long after the last page

January Wrap Up

Hello There!
I am terribly sorry, yet again, for not being able to post a lot on my blog. Gah, unfortunately I have my GCSE's in 12 weeks and needed to sort some things out due to it. But now, I am hoping to atleast upload weekly and maybe even twice a week but that will be rare thanks to these stupid exams *insert sigh*

I decided to post a "January Wrap Up" as I read a lot of books this month but giving each book a seperate in-depth review would take too long thus, I decided to review all of them in one simple post.

I also would like to warn you guys that all the books I am going to review are all ARCs and may contain some spoilers!

Mini Book Haul

Hello There!
It has been a while since I have uploaded a post on this blog so I apologise but it's for a very good reason. Thanks to my school thinking it would be a great idea to make us do mock exams after the Christmas holidays, my fellow students and I had to endure two weeks of headache's, revising, tears and all-nighters but we have finally finished it all the exams (which the results will be given to us on the 27th) and I can now write my heart out on this blog.

On A Hiatus

Hello There!
Myself and Abby have exams going on for a week and won't be able to update posts unfortunately due to it. We promise after our hiatus, we shall upload loads of posts and we actually have loads of posts planned and already in the queue. Sorry for the inconvenience guys!

Panic by Lauren Oliver (ARC)

Hello There!

Panic began as so many things do in Carp, a dead-end town of 12,000 people in the middle of nowhere: because it was summer, and there was nothing else to do.

Heather never thought she would compete in Panic, a legendary game played by graduating seniors, where the stakes are high and the payoff is even higher. She’d never thought of herself as fearless, the kind of person who would fight to stand out. But when she finds something, and someone, to fight for, she will discover that she is braver than she ever thought.

Dodge has never been afraid of Panic. His secret will fuel him, and get him all the way through the game, he’s sure of it. But what he doesn't know is that he’s not the only one with a secret. Everyone has something to play for.

For Heather and Dodge, the game will bring new alliances, unexpected revelations, and the possibility of first love for each of them—and the knowledge that sometimes the very things we fear are those we need the most.

Knowing Jack by Rachel Curtis (ARC)

Hello There!
It has been a while since I posted a blog post but I have a good enough reason to why as I had a wedding to go to and it takes a couple of days to prep for a wedding as you all may know, especially an Asian wedding. That aside, a couple of days beforehand I forced myself to read a couple of books so that I had something to write for for the next couple of days. Knowing Jack by Rachel is one of them.

My Bookish New Year's Resolutions 2014

Hello There!
This post was inspired by prettybooks. I normally do not have a new years resolution just because it never works out for me! This year (or last year however you want to see it), my new year's resolution was to lose weight. At first, I did, losing around seven pounds but laziness got to me and I gained back those pounds - and then some.

This year however, I am determined to complete my resolutions which are mostly around my blog.

It's quite a lot of goals but I feel they're quite simple and if I worked hard enough I could achieve each and every one of those resolutions.

I in particular want to achieve the "interact with other bloggers" and "host a giveaway" goals. I am quite a shy person and it's quite difficult for me to interact with other people but next year, its happening! If you randomly get an overly hyper comment on one of your post, it most likely will be me. I also want to host a giveaway but am a bit iffy about it. If I host a giveaway I would be compelled to do an international one and the problem with that is a) getting permission off parents seeing as I am only 16 and still living at home and b) money. Apparently sending stuff abroad costs a heck of a lot of money. But hopefully if I bat my eyelashes enough my parents will allow me to have a giveaway just this once so that I can interact with some of you.

What are your new years resolutions? Are they anything to do with books?
