Hello There!
Panic began as so many things do in Carp, a dead-end town of 12,000 people in the middle of nowhere: because it was summer, and there was nothing else to do.
Heather never thought she would compete in Panic, a legendary game played by graduating seniors, where the stakes are high and the payoff is even higher. She’d never thought of herself as fearless, the kind of person who would fight to stand out. But when she finds something, and someone, to fight for, she will discover that she is braver than she ever thought.
Dodge has never been afraid of Panic. His secret will fuel him, and get him all the way through the game, he’s sure of it. But what he doesn't know is that he’s not the only one with a secret. Everyone has something to play for.
For Heather and Dodge, the game will bring new alliances, unexpected revelations, and the possibility of first love for each of them—and the knowledge that sometimes the very things we fear are those we need the most.

Knowing Jack by Rachel Curtis (ARC)
Hello There!
It has been a while since I posted a blog post but I have a good enough reason to why as I had a wedding to go to and it takes a couple of days to prep for a wedding as you all may know, especially an Asian wedding. That aside, a couple of days beforehand I forced myself to read a couple of books so that I had something to write for for the next couple of days. Knowing Jack by Rachel is one of them.

My Bookish New Year's Resolutions 2014
Hello There!
This post was inspired by prettybooks. I normally do not have a new years resolution just because it never works out for me! This year (or last year however you want to see it), my new year's resolution was to lose weight. At first, I did, losing around seven pounds but laziness got to me and I gained back those pounds - and then some.
This year however, I am determined to complete my resolutions which are mostly around my blog.
It's quite a lot of goals but I feel they're quite simple and if I worked hard enough I could achieve each and every one of those resolutions.
I in particular want to achieve the "interact with other bloggers" and "host a giveaway" goals. I am quite a shy person and it's quite difficult for me to interact with other people but next year, its happening! If you randomly get an overly hyper comment on one of your post, it most likely will be me. I also want to host a giveaway but am a bit iffy about it. If I host a giveaway I would be compelled to do an international one and the problem with that is a) getting permission off parents seeing as I am only 16 and still living at home and b) money. Apparently sending stuff abroad costs a heck of a lot of money. But hopefully if I bat my eyelashes enough my parents will allow me to have a giveaway just this once so that I can interact with some of you.
What are your new years resolutions? Are they anything to do with books?

Hello There!
This is my second post of the day, you lucky cows! This time however, it is a review on an ARC I was fortunate enough to read.

Do You Ever Feel Like Your Opinion Is Wrong?
Hello There!
I have been reviewing books (on this blog anyways) for only a few weeks now and I have started to think about why I was hesitant in making this blog in the first place. There had been a few reasons but one big reason was; what if my opinion is wrong?

My Book Collection (With Mini Reviews)
Hello There!
So I realised that I keep talking about books and the different books that I have but haven't talked about my book shelf (or the lack of it) and the variety of books I have. I, also, unfortunately cannot review all the books I have because their is just too many so, whilst I introduce you to the books that I have in my possession, I shall give my opinion in short of each book and rate it for you guys - like a mini review. Remember that I have had some of these books since I was six so don't be too surprised in seeing a book aimed at a younger audience.

Defy by Sara B. Larson Review
Hello There!
Alexa Hollen is a fighter. Forced to disguise herself as a boy and serve in the king's army, Alex uses her quick wit and fierce sword-fighting skills to earn a spot on the elite prince's guard. But when a powerful sorcerer sneaks into the palace in the dead of night, even Alex, who is virtually unbeatable, can't prevent him from abducting her, her fellow guard and friend Rylan, and Prince Damian, taking them through the treacherous wilds of the jungle and deep into enemy territory.
The longer Alex is held captive with both Rylan and the prince, the more she realizes that she is not the only one who has been keeping dangerous secrets. And suddenly, after her own secret is revealed, Alex finds herself confronted with two men vying for her heart: the safe and steady Rylan, who has always cared for her, and the dark, intriguing Damian. With hidden foes lurking around every corner, is Alex strong enough to save herself and the kingdom she's sworn to protect?
I was fortunate enough to read Defy as an ARC before it's release date of Jan 7 and got straight into the book. I was able to finish the entire 341 pages within four hours and read it altogether. Yes, it was that good.

Allegiant (Divergent #3) Review
Hello There!
The faction-based society that Tris Prior once believed in is shattered—fractured by violence and power struggles and scarred by loss and betrayal. So when offered a chance to explore the world past the limits she’s known, Tris is ready. Perhaps beyond the fence, she and Tobias will find a simple new life together, free from complicated lies, tangled loyalties, and painful memories.
But Tris’s new reality is even more alarming than the one she left behind. Old discoveries are quickly rendered meaningless. Explosive new truths change the hearts of those she loves. And once again, Tris must battle to comprehend the complexities of human nature—and of herself—while facing impossible choices about courage, allegiance, sacrifice, and love.
Told from a riveting dual perspective, Allegiant, by #1 New York Times best-selling author Veronica Roth, brings the Divergent series to a powerful conclusion while revealing the secrets of the dystopian world that has captivated millions of readers in Divergent and Insurgent.

THE HOBBIT: DESOLATION OF SMAUG review
Hey Guys,
So my quest was to get Halema to become a Ringer, although we may have done this backwards as today we went see Desolation of smaug when she has not yet seen The Hobbit. Never the less she; as well as me and everyone else in the viewing, thought it was an amazing film. Being a LOTR’s fan it comes naturally to adore The Hobbit and after seeing the desolation of smaug it has only intensified my love for these trilogies. Why can’t real life be anything like it?

Tips On Buying Books
Hello There!
I was looking through my book shelf (which technically isn't a bookshelf as I keep my books in my wardrobe) and noted how most of the books I have read was due to other people raving about them and good reviews. Going by other people's words and blindingly buying a book hasn't always worked out though. The Morganville Vampires for example are books I seriously regret buying. Not only did I buy ONE book from that series, for some reason, I was determined to buy SEVEN of them at the same time. Seven. And one in hardback. My dad's poor credit card. It was such a bad book that after a few pages I tossed it to the side in anger and tried to sell it on eBay asap. Unfortunately, I couldn't sell them and they are at the back of my wardrobe, gathering dust.

Taking Part in the 100 Book Challenge
Hello there!
I was scrolling down bloglovin' and found that many bloggers have pledged there love for this challenge but also, taking part in it too. I myself have taken up the challenge as I have abandoned my books for quite some time and this will give me a good excuse to start reading again. Last year, I managed to read around a hundred books without noticing so hopefully, this year it'll be just as easy - touch wood.

When All Hope Was Lost
Hello There!
As the Skills Show was on in Birmingham at the NEC, a close friend and I decided to go and check it out (with my sister). If you're questioning whether or not the Skills show was good, well then stop questioning it because in all honestly it was a load of bull s***. The volunteers took the whole thing as a joke and even led my friend and I in the opposite direction of the bus stop which we needed to go to "as a joke." If you have ever been to the NEC you would know how big it is and may also cringe at the thought of us being in the opposite direction to our destination and having to walk all the way back to get to it. Our legs were aching by the end of it and we immediately regretted coming to the Skills show. The Skills show in general was rubbish aswell as I didn't find anything helpful and the people to be really unfriendly.
